This is a 4 week series.
I love telling the Christmas story with our Middle School + High School students! This story can both feel complicated because of the things I don't understand as well as magical and amazing. These lessons look at the stories of Jesus' birth in regards to friendship, power structures and looking critically at traditional parts of the story versus how we've traditionally looked at Christmas as a holiday.

The Promise of Jesus: Isaiah 9: 6-7
Jesus + Loving Relationships: Luke 1:26-56
Power-Flipping Jesus: Luke 2: 1-20
Doing What’s Right: Matthew 2: 1-12
