WEEKLY CURRICULUM THAT ACTUALLY FITS YOUR FAITH

Lessons you don’t have to edit. A rhythm that works in real life.

You’re building something meaningful, and you shouldn’t have to rewrite your curriculum every week to do it. Zippee Kids delivers PreK and Elementary lessons every week that are playful, inclusive, and rooted in the theology you actually believe in.

WE KNOW THE STRUGGLES YOU FACE, WE’VE BEEN THERE TOO

Sarah spent years reshaping lessons, adjusting language, reworking theology, and trying to make outdated materials feel like something she could teach in good faith. Again and again, she ran into the same roadblocks while trying to serve her community with care and clarity.

Theology That Doesn’t Fit

Most curriculum still relies on fear-based framing or language that doesn’t align with the theology your community is growing into.

Assumes a Mega-Church Staff

So much of what’s out there is built for large programs with volunteers on rotation and big supply closets. That’s not your reality.

No Big Picture for Kids’ Formation

It’s hard to find curriculum that intentionally connects the dots from PreK through teens—especially one that honors your theological values.

The Weekly Rewrite Burnout

You don’t have time to patch theology every week. You need something you can trust as-is.

ZIPPEE KIDS WAS BUILT WITH THESE CHALLENGES IN MIND

You shouldn’t have to choose between theology that fits and lessons that work. Every piece of the Zippee Kids curriculum is designed to meet you right where you are—spiritually, practically, and pastorally.

  • Aligned from the Start: Lessons are written with inclusive, thoughtful language that reflects where we hope the church is headed—not where it used to be.

  • Created for Churches Like Yours: You’ll get flexible, ready-to-use materials that work whether you’re a one-person team or managing a handful of volunteers.

  • Rooted in a Long-Term Vision: Our content isn’t just week-to-week—it’s intentionally structured to help kids grow in faith over time, with age-appropriate depth and consistency.

  • Ready to Use Every Week: You’ll receive two fresh lessons each week (PreK + Elementary), designed to be taught as-is—with no theological acrobatics required.

Our curriculum

WHAT WE TEACH (AND WHY IT MATTERS)

The Zippee Kids curriculum is designed to help kids build a foundation of curiosity, wonder, and spiritual imagination—without fear-based framing or outdated theology. Here's how Year 1 is structured across six thoughtful sections.

Beginnings & Belonging

From Creation to Joseph, we introduce foundational stories in Genesis that spark questions about identity, community, and God’s presence in our lives.

Calling & Courage

Following the journey of Moses, kids explore themes of leadership, justice, and liberation, learning how faith and bravery can shape change.

Jesus Is Here

The birth of Jesus marks a shift into the Gospels. Kids meet Jesus through the stories of his birth, miracles, and ministry, always grounded in compassion and curiosity.

Wonder & Witness

From the parables to the Last Supper, these lessons invite kids to reflect, imagine, and ask what it means to live like Jesus in everyday life.

Early Church & Christ Community

We trace the stories of the disciples and early church, highlighting moments of courage, learning, and community formation.

Growing Together

Lessons on the early church in regards to love in action help kids practice spiritual rhythms and explore how their faith shows up in real life.

“I created Zippee Kids because I wanted something I could feel good about giving to the kids in my life—and maybe yours, too. Whether you're teaching on Sunday or tucking someone in at night, I hope our resources help you spark wonder, joy, and real conversation with the kiddos you love”

REAL VOICE, REAL IMPACT

Don’t just take our word for it—pastors, parents, and caregivers are finding new ways to nurture faith with honesty, imagination, and joy. Here's what they’re sharing.

There are not many of us creating resources for parents and caregivers who want their kids introduced to a God that is compassionate and expansive, a Jesus that is nonviolent and racially representative, or a family of God that is inclusive and diverse. But, if my inboxes are any indication, there is a growing demand and appreciation for exactly these types of resources. Sarah was doing this hard work long before I came on the scene and she is one of the first people I point folks toward when my book sparks curiosity, reparenting or healing inside of them.

Mariko Straton

Author of Book of Belonging

“Our church has been using the Zippee curriculum for over two years and we couldn’t be happier with how great of a fit it is. There are so many other ‘big name’ options out there that we've tried in the past, but I’ve previously had to default to creating my own because of how much editing was needed to fit the theology of our post-evangelical community. I’m so glad to not have to re-invent the wheel every week or month with our curriculum prep! What Sarah has created is such a beautiful starting point for getting kids to be curious about Scripture and the stories it holds and help them learn how to ask good questions and how to think instead of telling them what to think. It also lends itself beautifully to us adding our own ‘flair’ and helping craft intentional learning spaces for our kids 0-5th grade. I’m so excited with what’s coming next for Zippee”

Sara Brown

Children’s Pastor, Denver Community Church

“We love the Zippee/Reimagine curriculum because it really fills a much needed niche. Being a progressive church in a non-progressive area, there aren't a ton of resources for our kids and Sarah really helps fill the gap. We love the targeting of asking questions (Sarah adds some to the end of every lesson) - that's something we really zoom in on in our Elementary room. For our Nursery room, we love the way so many of the Bible stories are translated to be on their level; coming from a place of love and not hate or lack. We really appreciate all the time, energy, and effort Sarah and her team put into this curriculum!”

FAQs

Sometimes answers only get us part of the way. If you’re still sitting with uncertainty, that’s okay. This work is meant to be explored slowly, with room for your questions and your pace.

  • Yep! I wrote this with a minimal and space limitations in mind but with an emphasis on play-based learning. I would suggest creating some sensory bins to keep on hand and pull out. We rent our space so storage is often in my car or garage. You can make it work, less is more!

  • Yep! Larger churches are currently running it and the curriculum is written so that it can be modified and scaled for size.

  • My research with child development + spirituality says we don’t teach all the stories to every age. I use a concept called “spiral teaching” where you add onto your stories by teaching details to the story as kiddos get older or adding in stories that feel more age-appropriate.

If you only want PreK or Elementary subscription that’s an option, contact me.

  • There’s a “10 kids or less in my program” option if you contact me; small churches deserve great kids programs! Let me know, contact me!
